I am an associate professor in the Department of Educational Leadership, Foundations, and Policy at the University of Virginia. My research focuses on how policies and organizational conditions influence the career outcomes of K-12 district leaders, principals, and teachers.

This page is mainly focused on research for now, but I like teaching, too. I am passionate about helping education leaders become informed consumers of research.
